Due to reports that PSG manager Carlo Ancelotti will join Real Madrid, it has also been speculated that Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will leave the club after just one season at the club. The tall striker arrived from AC Milan just over a year ago for around £ 20 million. He is thought to be one of the highest earning players in the world. He has managed to live up to his reputation as one of the fiercest strikers in the world by managing to help PSG to their first title in 19 years, while they also managed to make it into the quarter finals of the Champions League as well.
However, Ancelotti’s possible departure from PSG could signal a move away for several stars at the club since his presence was responsible for bringing them to the club in the first place. Ibrahimovic, though, will be a PSG player at the start of the season according to his agent, who has quashed rumours about him joining the likes of Chelsea and Manchester city. The Swedish striker managed to score 43 goals in all competitions for the French club in an extraordinary season. His agent has revealed that Ibrahimovic has always had a great relationship with his coaches with the exception of former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola.
“Zlatan will continue next year. He is very happy in Paris. He won the title, he scored goals, he did his job, he did what he had to do and what he had promised. He has a good relationship with Carlo Ancelotti but Zlatan has always had good relationships with his coaches, except for Pep Guardiola. It is unfortunate if Ancelotti departs but it happens,” said his agent Raiola. His former club Juventus have also been linked with a move for his services.
